If you connect to ARK through Epic Games rather than Steam, set up a Crossplay commandline in the Game Panel.

Set up the Crossplay commandline

  1. Click Commandline Manager.
  2. Switch to the Custom Commandlines tab.
  3. Click New.
  4. Name the commandline Crossplay.
  5. Find No BattlEye, tick the box on the left, and set the dropdown to disabled.
  6. Find Crossplay (does not work with mods) and tick the box on the left.
  7. Find Map, tick the box on the left, and choose your map.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Click Select next to the commandline you created — the text turns bold when it's selected.
  10. Restart the server.

Note: it can take some time for the server to appear in-game — look under the unofficial servers list.

Direct connect to your Epic Games server

  1. Go in-game.
  2. Press Tab to open the admin console (press Tab again for the larger console).
  3. Run open IP:Port (replace with your server's connection info).

Note: with ARK via Epic Games, server passwords, the admin/ban system, the server whitelist, and server mods currently can't be used.
