If for any reason the game panel didnt successfully install the mod and facing some errors. Your able to install any mod via game panel control manager by uploading the following steps:
Find the mod you want to install in your PC:
- On Steam, go to your game library and right click on ARK: Survival Evolved, and then click on "Properties" at the bottom of the popup menu.
- In the window that appears, click on the "Installed Files" tab along the side, and then click on "Browse".
- This opens a window showing the files for your ARK: Survival Evolved client in the Steam application.
- Navigate to the following path:
- Inside, there are folders for each mod, labeled with the steam workshop ID for each mod. As well as,there will also be matching numbered files that end in .mod.
ZIP Mods
Both the folder for each mod and the matching .mod file must be uploaded to the server for the mods to work correctly.
It's highly recommended that you zip all the files up before uploading them to your server. Files contained in a single zip file are also easier to move around on your server if you need to transfer them from one directory to another.
Upload the zipped files to server via Game Panel "File Manager"
Upload the zipped file you have implemented earlier to the server by applying the following:
- Login to the game control panel and navigate to file manager
- Navigate to /ShooterGame/Content/Mods
- Upload the zip file by either clicking on on "Upload" and select the file or simply Drag and Drop
- Right click on the zip file uploaded and click "Extract"
- After Successful Upload. You no longer need the zip file any more, just simply delete it
Enable mods in Game Panel Configuration Files
- Go to Game Panel Configuration Files
- Click on "GameUsersSettings.ini" then "Config Editor"
- Add the mods number(s) you have uploaded in the /ShooterGame/Content/Mods followed by comma without spaces (Ex. 11111,22222,33333,44444)
Once finished, Save the changes, and then Start ARK server.
