Change the Max Wild Dino Level on Your ARK Server
The maximum level of wild dinos is controlled by the Override Official Difficulty setting.
Change the setting
- Log in to the control panel and click Configuration Files.
- Click Config Editor for
GameUserSettings.ini.
- Find Override Official Difficulty. The default is
5, which makes wild dinos spawn up to level 150 (on official maps). Every1point adds 30 levels.
Example:
- Set it to your desired value, then Save & Exit and Start the server.
Difficulty override chart
Use this chart to pick the difficulty values for the wild levels you want. Override Official Difficulty lets you raise the difficulty above the default; the per-map Difficulty Offset scales it.
