Can't Find Your ARK: Survival Ascended Server in the List?

ARK: Survival Ascended has so many servers that the in-game list can hit the client's cache limit, so your server may not appear even when you search for it by name.

First, try searching the list for part of your server's name to narrow the results. If it still doesn't show, use one of the methods below.

Open the in-game console with the ~ key (not the Steam console — the Steam console returns "Not a Steam protocol" for these commands).

Method 1 — Join directly

Type the following (without quotes) to connect straight to your server:

open x.x.x.x:xxxx

(Replace x.x.x.x:xxxx with your server's IP and port.)

Direct connect via the console

Method 2 — Extend server visibility

Type the following (without quotes):

Ark.UseServerList 0

Then, on the join-multiplayer screen, click Refresh — your server should now appear.

Refreshing the server list

Note: until Studio Wildcard fixes this client bug, you may need to use one of these commands each time. PlayStation and Xbox may not be affected.
